How referral rewards work after onboarding

HiringMaps team · 4 min read

The stages a referral passes

Every referral is recorded across seven stages: referred, contacted, screened, interviewed, selected, onboarding, and deployed. You can check its position anytime — there is no black box.

The person you refer goes through the same process as any applicant. A referral opens an introduction, not a shortcut past screening.

Why rewards wait for onboarding

Rewards are paid after the candidate formally starts work because that is the only point where a placement has genuinely succeeded. Schemes that pay earlier invite fake candidates and fabricated data — which ultimately harms real workers.

There are no levels, no chained commissions, and no fees of any kind charged to the referred candidate.
